Go Fish Card Game
For 2 to 4 players
Contents: 36 Colorful Fish Cards
Object: To collect the most fish pairs by the end of the game.
Set
Up: Take all the cards and mix them, face
down.
If 2 are playing: each player is dealt seven
cards.
If 3 or 4 are playing: each player is dealt five
cards.
All remaining cards are placed face down, near all
players' reach. This becomes the draw deck.
Playing: Hold your cards so that no other players
can see what you have. If you have any pairs place them face up in front of
you.
The dealer starts the game by asking any other
player for a fish.
If the player they asked has that fish, they must
give it to the dealer. The dealer then takes the matching fish from his or her
hand and puts both cards face up in front of him or her. They now take another
turn, asking any player for any fish card that they have in their hand. They
continue to do so as long as they get the card they asked for from any player.
When a player does NOT have the fish card the
dealer asks for, the player says, “go fish!” The dealer must then take the top
card from the draw deck. If the card picked matches a card in his or her hand,
they can place the pair down next to them. If it does not match, they must keep
the card in their hand.
The player to the left of the dealer now takes his
or her turn and the game
continues as above, in a clockwise direction.
Special Note: Younger players can ask for cards by
color.
Ending and winning the game: When there are no
more cards left in the draw deck, players continue to ask for cards until one
player is out of cards. Each player now counts how many pairs of cards they
matched. The player with the most pairs wins.
Mini Lets Go Fishin' Game
For 2 players
Contents: 8 Fish, 2 Rods, Game Base
Object: To collect the most fish.
Set
Up: Place the 8 fish into the holes that
are on the game base. Each
player takes a fishing rod.
Playing: Carefully wind-up the game base until it
can wind no more. Be careful not to overwind! Each player tries to catch a fish
using their rod.
When all the fish have been caught, the player
with the most fish wins.
In case of a tie, players play another game.
Animal Matching Game
For 2 to 4 players
Contents: 36 Colorful Animal
Cards
Object: To have the most matching
pairs at the end of the game.
Set
Up: Carefully separate the cards from the
sheets. Mix all the cards and place them in 6 rows of 6 cards each.
Playing: The youngest player starts by turning over any two
cards—so that all the players can see.
If the two cards match: the player takes the two
cards and takes another turn! Keep taking turns until you do not make a match.
If the two cards do NOT match: turn them face down
in the same place. All
players should try to remember what those cards
were for later turns.
The player to the left of the youngest player
takes their turn in the same way and the game continues
clockwise.
Ending and winning the game: After all the pairs
have been found and taken by players, the player with the most pairs wins.
In case of a tie, all tying players play another game.
