pump by pressing any one button as you slide the switch (on the right side
of the game) to either game (up or down). After a few seconds, you should
get an even mist.

the unit is OFF Move the switch to play Hydro Memory or Hydro Reflex.
Inputting the # of Players:
After selecting the game you want to play,
the left light will go on. Press the button directly under the light 1,
2, 3 or 4 times depending on the number of players. Then press the middle
button to ENTER that number.
Inputting the Skill Level:
The right light will now go on. Press the
button directly under this light 1,2, 3 or 4 times, depending on the skill
level you want the game to start at (1 is easiest and 4 is most challenging).
Press the middle button again to ENTER the skill level.
All three lights will flash. Press the middle
button-START- when you are ready to begin.
Playing: Hydro Reflex:__________________________________
As soon as a light lights up, hit the button
directly underneath it. Another light will then light up, hit the button
under that light and soon. The lights get progressively faster, so you'll
have to hit the buttons faster and faster.
If you're playing solo:
When you successfully complete a round of
20 lights, you will hear a "round over" sound. The three lights will then
go on, and when you're ready, press START to begin the next round. When
you hit the wrong button - or wait too long to hit the right button- you
get zapped! You will now get your score (see "Scoring").
If two or more are playing:
Decide what order you will play in (Player
1, Player 2, etc.) and enter the number of players and skill level as described
in "Set Up." When the game is ready, all three lights will flash.
Press the middle button-START- when you are ready to begin.
If Player 1 completes Round One, the game
will give two beeps to signal to pass the game to Player 2. If there are
three or four players, the game will beep the player's number before their
turn. This continues with all of the players at Round One. When it is Player
l's turn again (signalled by one beep), Round Two will begin for all players.
As soon as a player gets zapped, they are out of the game. The next player
is then signalled to begin their turn. When only one player is left, the
game is over. If the last player holding the game is the winner, the game
will give a "victory" tune and give the winner's score. It will then give
all the other players' scores in descending order (the player number is
indicated by the number of beeps before the score is given).(see "Scoring").
Skill Level Note: In both solo and multi-player
games, the game gets faster after each round.
Playing Hydro Memory:_________________________________
In Hydro Memory, you've got to repeat a growing
sequence of lights that begins with three and increases by one with every
round.
If you're playing solo:
After the game plays the sequence, you must
immediately repeat it using the buttons that correspond to the lights.
If you press the wrong button, or wait too long to hit the right button,
you get zapped and the game is over! You will now get your score (see "Scoring").
If two or more are playing:
Decide what order you will play in (Player
1, Player 2, etc.) and enter the number of players and skill level as described
in "Set Up." All three lights will flash. As soon as Player 1 presses the
START button, the game will begin.
In a multi-player game, each player has their
own light sequence that builds by one with every round. Players do not
repeat what the other players do, but what they themselves did on the previous
round.
If Player 1 completes Round One, the game
goes into Standby Mode and there are two beeps as a signal to pass the
game to Player 2. If there are three or four players, the game will beep
those players' numbers before their turn. Each player always starts their
turn by pressing the START button.
This continues with all of the players at
Round One. When it is Player 1's turn again(signalled by one beep), Round
Two will begin for all players with an additional light added to each player's
sequence. As soon as a player gets zapped, they are out of the game. The
next player is then signalled to begin their turn. When only one player
is left, the game is over.
If the last player holding the game is the
winner, the game will give a '"victory" tune and give the winner's
score. It will then give all the other players' scores in descending order
(the player number is indicated by the number of beeps before the score
is given). (see -"Scoring").
If the last player holding the unit is not
the winner, the game will beep the winning player's number, go into the
Standby Mode and the START button must be pressed to hear all scores.
If there are only two players left and the
first player gets zapped, the second player still gets to complete that
round.
Note: To move to a faster level in Hydro
Memory, input a higher skill level in Set Up.
Scoring:
Above the lights, from left to right, are
the numerals 100, 10 and 1.When it is time for the unit to give the score(s),
it will give you both light and sound cues. For instance, if you scored
137, the unit will first light up the 100 light one time (for 100), then
will light up the second light three times (3 X 10 = 30) and, finally,
light up the third light seven times (7 X 1 =7).
Getting Your Scores
After giving the score, the middle light
will blink for a few seconds. Pressing the button while the lights are
flashing will repeat the score, or scores, again.
Starting a new game:
If you want to start a new game, wait until
all three lights start flashing again, then press START. If you want to
change gamesor change the number of players or game level-you need to
turn the unit off, then set-up.
Important:
Empty the water after use and leave the cover
off to dry completely before putting the game away. Do not place anything
over the spray nozzle at any time. Remove the batteries when you store
the game.
