Thanks for purchasing one of our Think Games at Target—we think they’re fun, challenging brainteasers; we hope you’ll think so too.
If you’re visiting this page, it means you need a little help. To get a hint, please click on the image of the puzzle you’re trying to solve. The pages are set up so that you can only get one hint at a time (we don’t want to spoil all of the fun). After you review one hint you’ll be able to click through from that page to get another hint. But don’t peek unless you have to—these puzzles are designed to challenge your brain, so keep thinking!
The object of Think Square is to remove one of the square pieces of the puzzle, then build a different square that fits into the same area. But how is that possible? We think you’ll understand once you solve the puzzle, but if you still don’t, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll email you back with an explanation (we don’t want to post it here and give away the secret).
In the meantime, here’s your first hint:
1. Starting from the center and moving outward the pieces are in the same spots as they were when you opened the box, but their orientations are different.
